Voyager

My father and stepmother, Peter and Jeanette Phillipps are currently in Australia aboard their beautiful 50' schooner Voyager. Voyager is an Alden schooner built in 1929. Her sister ship is Tarbaby, rigged as a staysail schooner. Voyager's rig remains true to her original design, gaff fore and aft, but my she was rebuilt in the 70's with some major changes. She now has a flush deck and carries two 10' dorries on her deck. Perhaps you've seen her feature in Wooden Boat magazine and some of its related calenders.
I think she should be included in your list primarily because her sailing record is so impressive. She is now in the midst of a 5-10 year 'round the world cruise and has been in the Mediterranean several times. She has crossed the Atlantic at least 8 times and the Pacific once, so far. She has weathered more than her share of hurricanes and her seaworthiness says something for all schooners.
